The results are in, and Jeremy R. Summerlin—hey, that’s me!—has been recognized by Greenville Business Magazine as a member of the Legal Elite for 2026. Mr. Summerlin, still speaking in third person so as to appear—like Wilbur, that famed pig of yore—incredibly humble, received the top votes from his peers for the Upstate Region of South Carolina for the area of Employment Law Plaintiff.
Mr. Summerlin has previously been recognized by Greenville Business Magazine as a member of the Legal Elite for many years—far too many for Mr. Summerlin to go back and fact check, not enough time, lots of Legal Elite-ing to do.
Seriously, though, I do enjoy sending my wife links to the online version of the magazine, just to try and convince her that she made a good choice and shouldn’t regret anything too too much because now she’s married to a Legal Elite and so why worry about the concerning amount of LEGOs that cover our dining room table and have begun overflowing to other rooms of the house that we purchased with all that Legal Elite type money?

I’m grateful that I get to help employees throughout South Carolina fight back against unlawful discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage theft. I’ve been representing employees my whole career—over twelve years now—and I look forward to many more years.
